Description		Very tall bush. Upright leaves, mature leaves with droopy tips. Dark brown, almost black margins.
Uses		Good kete, whāriki cultivar.
Piupiu		The para sticks a lot and the fibre is brittle. It curls well.
Muka extraction		Muka extracted well. Para slightly stuck to fibre, removed by scrapping with knife or mussel shell.
Raranga - unboiled		Good raranga cultivar, similar to Hūhiroa. Leathery and pliable, easy to soften. Butt end noticeably thicker than tip end of leaf.
