COVID-19: An update on our operations during the COVID-19 lockdown
Manaaki Whenua is committed to putting the safety of our people, communities and partners first. From 11:59pm on Wednesday 25 April, the country will officially be in alert level 4. This means that all non-essential businesses must close until the alert level falls again.
- All our sites will be in a Christmas-like closedown over this period. Fieldwork and non-essential lab work is being postponed.
- Our staff will be working from home and will be maintaining business continuity as much as possible.
- We do have some key services that are considered essential services, and these will be maintained on a case-by-case basis, and on advice from the NZ Government.
We are currently working through our contractual arrangements to identify project deliverables that may be difficult to meet due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will be contacting affected stakeholders and clients directly to ensure they are aware of potential changes and/or delays to these projects, and we will work with them to determine the best way forward.
Please contact our staff as normal by phone or by email during this period.
