Highlights of the Christchurch Safari & Seminar
Safari 13 August 2009
Our first ever safari was held in Christchurch in 2008, so it is fitting that our final safari for the LIUDD research programme was also in Christchurch. The safari took us to the new Christchurch City Council civic building that is still being constructed, to the Addington re-generation project and then out to South West Chirstchurch, where we all got to appreciate the full extent of how LIUDD can be applied at a catchment scale.
Seminar 14 August 2009
The theme for this seminar was how to change to LIUDD. During the research programme we have learnt a lot about how to support and drive change towards low impact urban design and development and it was a pleasure to be able to share these learnings with those who attended the seminar. A guide on changing to LIUDD is now downloadable, as are all the presentations.
