Clare Feeney
Clare is a Director of Environmental Communications, a member of the Environment and Business Group, and has more than 20 years' experience in environmental management. She has specific expertise in land disposal of sewage, as well as in a broad range of technical areas relating to water and soil management, pollution control, sustainable stormwater management, and cleaner production and resource efficiency. In recent years Clare has focused on technical work as well as on training and education in areas including:
- developing and presenting training courses for businesses, regulators and community interests on topics including cleaner production, waste minimisation, pollution prevention and Resource Management Act compliance; erosion and sediment control on earthworks sites; riparian buffer management; septic tanks; household hazardous wastes
- developing and evaluating environmental education strategies and programmes
- preparing leaflets, posters, educational resources and promotional campaigns
- technical editing and newsletter production
