This region contains many interesting forms
that are all currently not assignable to any described species.
Examples of specimens include 13 pairs of legs oviparous forms that are not O. nanus (as pictured below from Waikaia Forest), and 15 pairs of legs ovoviviparous forms. It is also not unusual to find specimens in tussock around damp areas.
