TFBIS-funded specimen information
TFBIS (Terrestrial and Freshwater Biodiversity Information System) funding administered by the Department of Conservation has enabled the digitising of specimen information for groups of invertebrates considered to be important. As far as possible, the invertebrate groups were digitised from collections with significant holdings in New Zealand
The digitised information was to be made available to users without cost through Internet delivery. This site allows users to view the specimen information from different collections, as well as download the original information from each collection in the form of an Excel spreadsheet.
