The scientific version of this web key has been developed by M-C. Larivière and M.J. Fletcher, within the Agricultural Scientific Collections Unit (ASCU) of Orange Agricultural Institute and the New Zealand Arthropod Collection (NZAC) of Landcare Research, Auckland. The support of NSW Agriculture and Landcare Research is acknowledged.

A Manaaki Tangata fellowship from Landcare Research supported a 3 week visit (February 2001) by M.-C. Larivière to the Orange Agricultural Institute to work in collaboration with Dr M.J. Fletcher.

The less technical version of this web key has been developed between 2002 and 2003, within the Biosystematics of New Zealand Terrestrial Invertebrates Programme of Landcare Research, Auckland (Dr T.K. Crosby, programme leader).

The Maori language counterpart of this key has been prepared in collaboration with H. Jacob (Huata Consultants, Palmerston North).
