Macquarie
Island Outputs
Although biogeographically closely related to the New Zealand subantarctic islands,
the Australian-administered Macquarie Island is further south and
floristically less diverse than the New Zealand islands.
Stephenson, Laursen, and Seppelt surveyed the fungi and slime moulds of Macquarie Island
as part of an earlier NSF grant (INT-9215273).
Results of this work, lists of outputs, together
with background information on Macquarie Island, are provided
by the Australian Antarctic Division (http://www.antdiv.gov.au/stations/macca/default.asp).
