 Graeme Boyd MSc
Since 2005 Graeme has been a director of his own consulting business, Boyd Insight, which specialises in company turnarounds, growth strategies and implementation, and international marketing. For 8 years he was the CEO of Comvita, and developed the company from a small privately owned business to a publicly listed company. Before that Graeme was General Manager of ICI New Zealand.

 Jo Brosnahan QSO, MA Hons, FCILT, FNZIM
Jo was appointed to the Landcare Research Board in July 2006. She was CEO of Auckland Regional Council for 8 years, and before that CEO of the Northland Regional Council for 14 years. She is the Founding Chair of Leadership New Zealand, a charitable trust established to raise debate about leadership and to develop leaders through a mid-career programme.

Rob is Chairman of the Landcare Research Board and its longest-standing director. He was a founding member of Living Earth, which produces soil products and conditoners from organic waste. Rob’s business background refl ects a strong interest in sustainable development and natural history. |
 Alistair Lawrence BCA
Alistair was appointed to the Landcare Research Board in July 2004. He is a director and shareholder of Antipodes, a private investment bank that specialises in mergers and acquisitions advice, as well as providing private equity for emerging New Zealand companies.

 Willie Te Aho BA, LLB, MBA (Ngāti Kahungunu)
Previously a practising solicitor, Willie is currently Managing Director of Indigenous Corporate Solutions, which has developed best practice models for Māori protocol training, consultation, alternative dispute resolution, and Māori project management. Willie is a member of the Waikato Tourism Advisory Council, and a Hearings Commissioner of the Gisborne District Court.

Jill has a background in science teaching, nursing and politics – she was Labour MP for Manawatu in 1993–96, a list MP in 1996–97, and Mayor of Palmerston North from 1998 to 2001. Her political interests included community development, housing, energy and resource management. She has been on parliamentary select committees including Education and Science, Planning and Environment, Hazardous Substances and New Organisms, and Regulations Review.

Anne is a chartered accountant, business consultant and professional company director who has previously held senior management positions in the information technology and meat industries. Her prior directorship experience includes roles in the forestry, health, transport and banking sectors.
