In October 2009, we agreed with Massey University to dissolve the NZCEE joint venture, although we will continue to work collaboratively. Oversight for the NZCEE relationship will migrate to be part of a strategic whole-of-University relationship. NZCEE has played a big role in successfully establishing ecological economics and its application in New Zealand but there is now have a relatively small stream of shared work that can be more simply and practically managed via normal contracts. Massey University's staff will continue to co-locate with us at our Palmerston North site.
